Workforce Housing is a housing program that was created to help people who work to provide vital services in our community find housing near the neighborhoods in which they work. The Opal offers income-based apartments in Fort Worth, TX, through the Workforce Housing program. To determine if you are eligible for Workforce Housing, you must qualify under specific income guidelines. Please review the checklist below to apply.

Maximum Income Requirements:
- Six weeks of most recent consecutive paycheck stubs.
- IRS form 1040 with schedule C for last 2 years (self-employed only).
- Social security award letter not more than 120 days old.
- Current statement of retirement or pension plan. 401k statement not more than 120 days old.
Income Requirements
*Note: If approved, deposit is due day of move-in. This can vary from $500 to one month rent dependent upon credit screening. Applicants with all forms of rental assistance are welcomed.
